Reps Summon Ajumogobia, Yar'Adua Over N72 Billion Gas Project
As part of its inquest into the oil sector, the House of Representatives Wednesday summoned the minister of energy (gas) Mr. Odein Ajumogobia and the group managing director of Nigerian National petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Alhaji Abubakar Yar'Adua in connection with the contract for the construction of Excravos-Lagos pipeline expansion and the East West Gas pipeline awarded by the federal government at the cost of N72 billion.

Looted Billions Leave Country Daily
Looted funds in billions of naira are still moved out of Nigeria on a daily basis and for failing to alert Mrs. Farida Waziri, the Director in charge of the National Finance Intelligence Unit (NFIU) of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr. Hashina Okaro was yesterday placed on indefinite suspension. He was accused of failing to alert the commission of illegal financial transactions reported to his office.
